Hello, I'm Ameria, but friends call me Amelia or Amy. I'm a something-something year old elf (not that you would care about my age, just know that I'm a mom with a now adult child). Shortly after coming back to my home town, I decided to fully enjoy my life as if I were a bachelorette again! Or at least enjoy it when I am not busy with my job.
A little bit about my past: I was happily married, until it stopped being happy and I currently live in my house all by myself. Months before I decided to move, me and my now ex-husband made a hard decision to get divorced, since our love wasn't as sincere as before. We're still chatting, but through the Internet, since we don't live together. I have a son, but he moved somewhere else because of his job and he found a girlfriend there (that was before the divorce). I'm proud of him, but as a mom I still miss him.
And no, I'm not really upset about all of that, the life goes on and I got an opportunity to start a new life. It wasn't easy to basically start my life from scratch though, I had to force myself to go out more and make friends like in the old times (and it paid off!). It was so unusual just to be free of spousal and parental responsibilites (especially at this age)
I dedicated myself to gardening, not only because its my hobby that I always enjoyed, but its also a job that pays my bills. Though at winter I have to do many sorts of odd jobs, when the crops are hibernating.
I tried myself a bit as a technician because of some past experince with appliances as well since they break from time to time. I got sick of technicians endlessly repairing my things, so I took the matters in my hands and convinced my husband to teach me on repairing things like faucets or toilets. Got my hands dirty, but hey, I don't have to pay for repairment services.
In my free time, I usually go out somewhere, you know, theatres, cafes, pool parties (more about that later) and clubs, sometimes with friends, sometimes by myself. I often banter with girls, gossip and drink some tea. At worst, when I got nothing to do, I just keep my house clean. But whenever I go out with fellow ladies, I just feel more fresh.
Also I have a pool! Yeah, I organize pool parties myself and its fun (partying part, not organizing), especially during hot summer days and when there are my gal pals around. We sometimes skinny dip (or at least we do until one of us hide the clothes haha). We splash each other and play games too. Sometimes we're getting drunk too, but not too much, some girls have husbands who care about them. And no, I don't regret splashing my buddy that was taking this picture haha.
Some people tell me that I sometimes manage to look both like a grumpy old hag and good looking woman at the same time. To be honest I kinda see that :D. When I invited my friend over a cup of tea, we were just gossiping like little girls (or rather like grandmas hehe) here in my bedroom, but suddenly my friend took her camera and shot a photo of unamused me, she could've at least told me to smile. Anyway, I told her to make another photo, but this time I was prepared.
Yes, I do sleepover with my gal pals sometimes, just like in the good old times. I guess you all already figured out that I have some sort of a mid-life crisis. And no, we're not doing anything naughty. Especially me, I don't think I'll ever be ready to be carefree and sleep with anyone (that's too low even for me).
I planned for trying out jogging at least once in my life and I finally went for it. Just as I started joggin, it started raining (as if intentionally, to ruin my day), but least one of the girls told me about the gym and that I could've jogged on some threadmils instead.
Not gonna lie, I've tripped over on it so many times, its was so embarassing. Maybe I'll give it another visit, maybe I'll start jogging for real, I haven't decided yet.
Yeah yeah, an old woman reached her mid-life crisis and started playing with leaves, really immature, I know (I guess thats who I am now, can't blame anyone for thinking this way). Can't I just have some fun too? :P
