I guess. Not really, neocities own editor checks if my website has any errors.
21. What are your opinion on buttons and banners?

25. What text editor do you use?
Neocities editor. Or KATE (yes, I'm on Linux).

Less than 100Mb.
30. Do you keep local backups of your files?
Absolutely.
31. Do you prefer simple or highly visual websites?
Neither, as long as they're not soulless "2010s blogs" or made with modern tools that only add bloat to the website.

Yeah, shades of green. Yes, because I like green :3

Its a solitary hobby.

A bit of me-focused and hobby-focused.

Not really.
43. How about instant messengers? Do you use a mainstream one like Discord or Telegram? Or something like Matrix? Do you avoid them?
I prefer Discord (though not the people behind it), because everyone else are using it. I've heard about Matrix, but I don't know anyone who's using it.
44. Do you listen to music while you work on websites? If so, what kinds of artists?
Yes. Almost anyone I have included in my Music page
45. Do you keep everything you make on one website, or do you have more than one?
I make everything on one website (including my sims websites), because I can't do otherwise. And honestly, I don't feel like I need more than one website anyway.

I have different topics on my website: videogames, mods, music and The Sims 3.
47. Do you present your real self, or at least try? Or do you construct a persona on purpose?
You could say a bit of both. My main page is about me me (though I may include some mascot in the future). My sims websites are "told" from their perspective, but each sim has a piece of me in them.
48. Have you ever made a good friend thanks to your website?
No.
49. Are you happy with the way HTML and CSS currently work?
Yes and no. I'd prefer if they stopped deprecating things like marquees, they're not as easy to setup in CSS, you know?

Templates with no changes. Even if they like how the template looks, I think they should put some piece of them in their website design, like different color scheme, custom frames and stuff like that.
51. What about under-utilised practices, or things you think people should do more?
Nothing comes to mind tbh.
52. Do you use a lot of semantic HTML? Or are you guilty of generic structure?
No. I prefer using divs, they give me more freedom than semantic HTML tags.
53. Do you consider different browsers?
Not really, but it doesn't matter much, most of them are Chrome or Firefox skins anyway.
54. Speaking of, what's your preferred browser? Convince your readers why they should use it.
Firefox. It fully supports stuff like uBlock Origin and SponsorBlock
55. And what OS are you on?
i use Arch btw. Jokes aside, I use Arch Linux. I switched to Linux and distrohopped when Microsoft announced End of Support for Windows 10 back in 2024. First, I used Manjaro (terrible choice, but its the only one that was successfully installed from the faulty USB drive), then switched to Ubuntu (didn't like it), then used distros like EndeavourOS and CachyOS, until I got confident and installed Arch.
56. Do you have a strong opinion on that, or do you just happen to use it?
No. Especially nowadays, when each OS sucks in its own way.
57. Are your websites mobile-friendly?
No. There's no way I could adapt my website to be mobile-friendly.
58. What are your thoughts on autoplay?
Stop using it pls, its annoying.
59. What are your thoughts on webrings? Are you in any?
They're neat. Yes, I am.

Not really.
62. What is your ideal website? Are you striving for that, or for something else?
I don't have any ideals when it comes to my website.
63. Are you an artist? Do you draw or design your own assets?
No. I can't draw for shit, my knowledge of 3D is too limited for a proper art. I usually take inspirations for assets, if not "borrow" them (not as much for the main website though since its design is coded in CSS, but for my sims)
64. What are your favourite resource sites?
Sites of other people (if they ask not to steal or credit them, please do as they say) and different clique archives.
65. Is there a habit you just can't get away from no matter how hard you try?
Procrastination. I always get distracted with other things
66. What's your biggest advice for a new webmaster?
Don't be afraid of taking inspirations, learn and don't bite what you can't chew.
67. Do you keep all your styling in CSS? Or do you hard-code some?
As much as I'd like to keep everything in CSS, sometimes I have to hard-code. There's nothing wrong with that though.
68. What do you think of frameset layouts?
Never heard of frameset. And isn't it deprecated or something?
69. How about table-based layouts?
They're outdated. You can use them if you want, but you'll be somewhat limited.
70. Do you subscribe to the ideas of "one-column", "two-column" and "three-column" layouts? Do you use any of these?
Kinda. My website started out with three-column layout, until I decided to make everything as an asymmetrical grid.
71. Do you spend longer on the HTML or the CSS?
No idea.
72. Have you ever made a page with no CSS? It's useful for your thoughts.
Unless you count the ones I made in college, never.
73. Do you ever find yourself making layouts with nothing to put on them? Or do you only make layouts when the need arises?
I make layouts only whenever I need them.
74. Would you consider yourself a beginner? Or advanced? Somewhere in the middle?
Between a beginner and advanced, I think. I still don't know JavaScript and don't know every CSS feature, I'm not even talking about webkit features, animations and flexboxes.
75. Do you have a habit of looking at the source code of websites you visit?
Sometimes. I like when webmasters include the secret messages in the source code.
76. How did YOU learn how to make websites?
We had web-design classes in college. It was simple HTML/CSS and we had no time for JS, because some web-design lessons were skipped for whatever reason. And tbh, nobody was really interested in that, other than me.
77. Do you ever force elements to do things they're not supposed to?
I dunno, maybe.
78. Thoughts on floating elements?
They're fine. I also use float whenever I need it.
79. When you're sizing stuff, what do you use first? Do you use px, em, %, or something else?
px. I tried sizing with %, but its not precise enough for my needs.
80. Do you have a favourite font?
Not really. I never wanted a normal font like Arial or Times New Roman on my website, so I went for Comic Sans, then switched to Asinastra (custom-made font by a youtuber, which she made for herself and shared with her subscribers)
81. Would you run a website with another person? How would that work?
No. If that another person would've liked their own website, I'd like them to make their own design (which I would code for them) and make a neocities/nekoweb account themselves.
82. Do you surf the Web to find new personal websites very often?
Not much, at least recently. I can't fixate only on one hobby.
83. Do you bookmark other people's websites? How would you feel knowing someone else bookmarked yours?
Yes, and then add them to my Cool stuff page. It would make me feel special and warm my heart :3
84. What do you want people to be most impressed with when they see your website?
Whatever they find impressive, either the design, mods, sims or the website itself.
85. Are you interested in technology outside of websites? Do you collect?
I make mods, but you need some kind of website to host them XD. No, I used to collect bootleg DVDs, but I threw them away, because everything I wanted out of them is on the Internet anyway.
86. How often and for how long are you online?
You could say I'm chronically online, but I'm mostly a lurker
87. When it comes to your website, who is your target audience?
People from the age of 16 and older. While my website has a silly design, some things may not be suitable for people younger than that.
88. Have you ever been interested in XHTML?
What the fuck is XHTML?
89. Do you program in general? Have you ever written a program for use with or on your website, not counting simple JavaScript?
Only a little for mods, but I don't know any programming languages. Nope.
90. Speaking of programs that help you make websites, what do you think of static site generators (SSGs)? Have you ever used one?
As long as there aren't bazillion awfully similar websites, I'm fine with those. No, my website is handcoded.
91. Do you keep a hitcounter? Why or why not?
Not really, unless you include the clap counter. Because why not?
92. Do you frequent forums? Which ones?
ZDoom Forums, though I use it only for Doom mods.
93. Do you write your page content directly into the editor, or do you prepare it elsewhere, like a text document or a Word document?
Depends. When I have an idea, but I'm on my phone or doing anything but maintaining my website, I make a text document with a todo list.
94. Do you think you appear cool to others? A more accurate answer now: do other people ever say you're cool?
Maybe. I dunno ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
95. Are you embarrassed of your old work? Have you ever deleted everything out of shame?
Yesn't XD. Sometimes I am embarrassed of my old stuff (mostly the ones I haven't uploaded at all, thankfully). Yes, I have deleted some things out of shame, but if I didn't, its probably a scrapped project anyway or something I wanna redo some time in the future.
96. Would you close down your website if you couldn't update it, or would you leave an archive?
Neither of those. I would keep everything as is or at least leave a message that the website is not maintained anymore.
97. Do you reveal a lot about yourself on your website? Or are you more secretive?
Both. I reveal a lot of stuff that I enjoy and stuff that I've made some time ago. But I don't reveal my more personal details that much.
98. Are you willing to reveal who your best online friend is, and/or if they have a website?
I don't know. If I would reveal them, I would ask them if they're comfortable with that.
99. And do you optimise the images on your website?
I do, mostly
100. We're out of time! How do you feel after answering 100 questions? ....other than exhausted.
I didn't mind answering them at all. If there would be 200 questions, I would answer them as well XD
